Bringing a Year-Round Indoor Attraction to the Seafront

The idea for GY Escape Rooms began in 2019 after we experienced escape rooms ourselves and saw the opportunity to bring something immersive, high-quality and open all year round to Great Yarmouth.

While the town is famous for its beaches, arcades and summer attractions, we wanted to create something different — a weather-proof indoor activity in Norfolk that locals and tourists could enjoy 12 months of the year.

After years of planning, designing and building, we opened our doors in 2023. We’re now expanding again in 2026 as demand continues to grow.
